Michael Jeffriess
Group CEO
Michael is a chartered accountant with a broad range of experience in roles such as Chief Financial Officer, Operations and Projects Executive, Executive Director, and as an Investment and Compliance Committee member across a number of both ASX listed and privately held Groups predominantly within the financial services industry. Michael had a primary involvement in the listing of the HFA Holdings Limited. Michael holds a Bachelor of Commerce & Jurisprudence from Bond University, a Diploma of Financial Services, and is a Graduate Member of the Institute of Company Directors.
A hockey pro, bad golfer and gym fanatic, Michael loves his lifestyle on the Gold Coast and is keen to get back to local and international travel adventures as soon as possible.

Grant has founded and led several businesses, including NowInfinity, The Strategist Group, SMSF Strategies, I Love SMSF, and now LightYear Docs and the LightYear Training Group. These ventures showcase his passion for delivering cutting-edge tools, training, and strategies that help accountants and financial planners create real value for their clients.

A prolific author, Grant has written five books on SMSF strategies, and his most recent work, Family Wealth Protection in Australia, has become a best-seller. In addition to his writing, Grant is a highly regarded speaker and trainer, sharing his extensive knowledge on SMSFs, estate planning, and asset protection in Australia.
LightYear Group also benefits from Grant's deep involvement in various advisory capacities, and his role in chairing the Succession, Asset Protection and Estate Planning Advisers Association.

Outside his professional achievements, Grant is a lover of fine wine, enjoys cycling the world on his Nordic Track, and meditates to maintain balance and inspiration.

Director - Head of Sales
Ben Gill stepped into the role of Chief Sales Officer at LightYear Docs in October 2021, bringing with him over a decade of experience working with accountants to transition their firms to cloud-based solutions. His dedication to enhancing business processes and boosting profitability has earned him widespread respect within the industry.
Beyond his professional achievements, Ben has also proudly represented Australia in basketball.
